We are suffering from a real shortage of corneas due to the COVID crises; donations are halved compared to before and the demand is still very much there. I made this video with the NHSBT transplant nurses at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust to put across to the Doctors and Nurses involved in donation, how important donation is, and the life changing of corneal transplant surgery.
